The Revive Church invites women to spend their weekend with them for the 'Savor Women's Retreat' from Friday, Nov. 4 to Sunday, Nov. 6, at the YMCA of the Rockies. Registration is now open and ongoing.

Savor Women's Retreat

According to the Revive Church's website, the retreat aims to make women relax with their minds and bodies, which the church assures to happen at the weekend retreat.

Crystal Boecker, a spiritual director, former missionary, and licensed Pilates instructor, will reportedly lead the weekend for the women on the retreat.

As per the church, participants will reportedly enjoy interactive teaching, hiking, and Estes Park Shopping at the retreat.

In addition, Crystal will offer pilates classes, among other things they will do at the event.

Those who register until Sept. 5 and choose Quad Rooms will only pay $225. While the double rooms will only cost $275 for early birds.

History of Revive Church

Revive Church reportedly began in 1988 with its original name as Foothills Community Church. The congregation aims to share Jesus with the people of Northwest Arvada.

As per the church, although they initially convened in several locations, its inaugural service was held at the Arvada Center.

After some time, the church found themselves at Moore Middle School, where they conducted their services for 13 years.

People reportedly helped to set up and pack up the school every Sunday. There were also times when the church couldn't meet at the school and had to find elsewhere to have their services for those years.

Sometimes, they held their services in a different place or outside the park. According to the church's pastor, "if you can find us next week, you can come worship with us."

According to the church, as God continued to increase the number of Foothills members, it became essential for them to find a more prominent location for the church.

This new location would reportedly enable them to impact their neighborhood for Jesus while caring for the people already attending and serving.

In 2001, Revive Church reportedly relocated to the 80th and Carr area where they are now and have remained there ever since.

'A Vision to Revive'

The church reportedly changed its name to Revive Church in 2022. Being a religious group in the Arvada vicinity, they offer renewal, guidance, and hope through the changing lives of people.

Revival Church reportedly hopes to equip and empower people no matter where they are.

As per the church, there are three ways to revive people in the Arvada community. People may be revived through Shared Values which are the values that determine who they are as a person and how they wish to live their lives.

The second is through the Seven Signs. As explained, these are the characteristics of a person reportedly devoted to acting and loving like Jesus.

Lastly, through Shared Beliefs. The church believes everyone has a common set of beliefs, and even when some of their views are not essential to their faith, they can still find grace and community.
