The Rock Church to gather 400 Coloradoan pastors on January 24

400 Gathering (Eventbrite)

The Rock Church, located in Castle Rock, Colorado, will soon begin this year’s ‘400 Gathering for Colorado’ event.

On Jan. 24, exactly 400 church leaders all over the state will be invited to share the Word of God with other pastors and guests. The church’s ‘400 Gathering for Colorado’ has been one of the most popular events of The Rock from past years.

‘400 Gathering for Colorado’

According to an Eventbrite page, The Rock’s ‘400 Gathering for Colorado’ will be held on Monday, Jan. 24 from 9 am to 12 pm. All participants and guests will reportedly witness the greater purpose of the church in spreading Christ’s love and words.

Located exactly at 4881 Cherokee Dr. Castle Rock, CO, the church expects everyone to register first at the free event. Once done, participants can choose if they will enter as pastor, ministry and business leader, or intercessor admission.

Online participants can also join the event by toggling the online admission tab on the choices. All participants and guests will not be charged for anything during the event.

As of now, there are no announcements on who the event speakers will be.

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

As part of The Rock Church’s ‘400 Gathering for Colorado’ event, the church also reminded guests to practice their 21 days of prayer and fasting before the event. Starting from Jan. 3 to Jan. 23, the fasting and prayers will be led by church pastors Mike and Kristi Polhemus.

All participants of this event are encouraged to check out their Facebook page or website for further information.

The Rock Church Complaint

Before The Rock Church started to plan its 2022 ‘400 Gathering for Colorado’ event, the church experienced a massive issue from the past year.

As reported via Colorado Community Media, amid the peak of COVID-19 in January, The Rock Church allegedly held a massive gathering. This was despite the warnings from CDC and the federal government to avoid large meetings.

Two anonymous complaints were reportedly filed against the local church for violation of the said ruling. The most known complaint was connected to The Rock Church’s alleged event on Jan. 28, 2021.

The said date reportedly hosted the general meeting of conservative political group, FEC United. As mentioned on its page, FEC United is a “movement of bold men and women who will restore and secure the blessings of liberty guaranteed by the United States Constitution.”

According to the report, FEC United founder Joe Oltmann posted a video at the time showing the said gathering, with many people wearing no masks.

Mike Polhemus, The Rock’s lead pastor, confirmed in the same report that the facility used in the event was theirs. But, he reiterated that "FEC runs the event. We don't manage the event, we don't run the event."

He also emphasized that their church practiced proper COVID-19 protocols at the time. Polhemus further said that the health department should not make them liable. Instead, they must pin the blame to FEC for possible protocol violations.

As of now, there’s no update about this case.
