ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist with the coordinating of meetings and appointments for the NextGen Spanish Ministry Pastor
- Coordinate with Lakewood Events department on all NextGen Spanish Ministry events
- Assist with coordinating of NextGen Conference
- Assist with coordinating of NextGen Spanish Summer Camp
- Meet weekly with NextGen Spanish Ministry staff
- Maintain phone communication for NextGen Spanish Ministry
- Respond to calls, emails, and letters requesting information
- Maintain database records for all NextGen Spanish Ministry correspondence
- Assist with the deployment of the volunteer and leadership development process for NextGen Spanish Ministry
- Assist in the communication with volunteer leaders
- Compose and mail routine correspondence
- Perform general office duties and special projects as required
- Handle sensitive, confidential information and assignments with tact, discretion and diplomacy
- Other duties as assigned
MINISTERIAL DUTIES
As an Employee of Lakewood Church, you are a part of an over 60-year legacy of faith. As a part of the Lakewood team, you are a key part of our mission in taking the Hope found in Jesus to the world. This means that as part of your job responsibilities, you are considered a spiritual leader in the Church. You are responsible for communicating the Churchs beliefs and our mission to our congregants, to maintain a lifestyle consistent with the Scriptures, and you are required to belong to the Church as part of our faith community. This will also include:
- Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
- Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church,
- Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church
QUALIFICATIONS
- Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Churchs vision, values and core beliefs
- Strong organizational and problem resolution skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, identify priorities, meet deadlines and exhibit a high level of communication skills with a diverse population
- Ability to prioritize work effectively, with good organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability of handling conflicts and resolving problems
- Ability to work under pressure at a fast pace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with use of proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation and business formatting
- Ability to communicate in Spanish in both spoken and written forms is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Display professional appearance and conduct
- Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently on projects and collaboratively with department members
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college preferred
