ENGLISH LIFEGROUP MINISTRY

SUMMARY:
Execute, oversee and plan all Administrative details, procedures and operations within the English LifeGroups Ministry. This position reports directly to the Director of English LifeGroups.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative related tasks, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to build relationships with volunteers and leaders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Handle sensitive, confidential information and assignments with tact, discretion and diplomacy
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and communicate effectively
Provide administrative support by performing clerical functions to include, but not limited to receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, answering phones, and directing all incoming calls to appropriate party, copying, faxing, and filing
Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
Prepare letters/memos and other correspondence; distribute via mail, interoffice, post-office, FedEx, etc.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
Perform all general office duties and special projects as required
Display exemplary customer satisfaction skills including dealing effectively with the public, and staff
Work under pressure and time constraints and handle changing priorities
Maintain and update Planning Center database
Handle all administrative details related to meetings and special events, including necessary forms and communications with other departments
Copy, compile and prepare leader files and manuals for training classes and leader meetings
Process volunteer applications for approvals
Oversee budget for the department
Oversee planning, preparation, execution and communication with leaders and other departments for Block Parties

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Administrative position
Must be proficient in reading comprehension and writing skills
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate effective time management skills
Ability to perform a wide variety of administrative duties as required to effectively manage multiple projects, identify priorities and organize efficiently to meet deadlines
Display professional appearance and conduct
Courteous, prompt, and excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively and the ability to work independently on projects collaborating with department as a strong team player
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

EDUCATION:
Some college preferred
