JOB DUTIES
- Work alongside a volunteer audio/visual team to maintain a reliable system for providing technical support and weekly presentations for Main, Stage, and Livestream views within ProPresenter 7, ensuring that every worship service and event at St. Matthew’s UMC is vibrant, distraction-free, and technically well supported
- Oversee video production for worship services, including building the presentation(s) based on the worship script, livestreaming, editing, and uploading to website. Requires being available in person on most Sunday mornings before and during worship service
- Initiate successful communication with Pastor, Director of Music, and Worship ministry staff leaders to help facilitate audio/visual needs
- Train, equip, schedule, troubleshoot, and lead audio/visual volunteers on assignment for services and events
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least six months’ experience producing live videos and utilizing ProPresenter 6 or 7 (Mac preferred)
- Detailed knowledge of operating 24-channel-and-up electronic soundboard, Shure and ATK microphone set ups
- Must have broad hands-on experience with technology in a modern worship production environment, including video switcher with multiple cameras (PTZ preferred), computer graphics and ProPresenter
- Knowledge of ProPresenter software
- Very strong organizational abilities and excellent attention to details
- Willingness to learn, expand knowledge, motivate volunteers, and flexibility with time
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
