Background Vocalist Duties and Responsibilities:
- Abide by the Biblical principles, values and guidelines set within the Lighthouse Covenant
- Vast knowledge of music including contemporary gospel music, traditional gospel music and Christian contemporary music
- Must be able to properly demonstrate (vocal) harmonization at an intermediate, advanced, or expert level.
- Serve as BGV (frontline singer) during praise and worship, choir selection and invitation to discipleship during worship services and any additional engagements.
- Lead vocals for respective sections or song selections.
- Able to assist with teaching parts during rehearsals*** (if needed)
- Help maintain the overall vocal integrity of songs within your designated sections
- Worship Background Vocalist: The Primary role is to serve the ministry spiritually and vocally to enhance the kingdom sound.
