Responsibilities
•
The HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department, with a primary focus on staffing & recruiting, benefits administration, and general administrative duties
•
Assisting with managing our presence on internal and external job boards
•
Scheduling interviews and preparing applicant profiles for interviews
•
Scheduling and administering applicant testing when applicable
•
Overseeing the background check process, ensuring compliance with organization's standards and the FCRA
•
Assisting with new hire reference checks
•
Accurate completion and maintenance of Form I-9, verify I-9 documentation, enter new employee/re-hire/or update information onto E-Verify site, and maintain I-9 files
•
Maintain the management of employee profiles in the various HR related systems/platforms
•
Coordinate with the Facilities Department on New Hire office set-up, key requests, and parking
•
Coordinate with the IT Department to ensure New Hire computer and phone set-up
•
Assisting with the facilitation of New Hire Orientations and the facility tour
•
Ensure all new hire paperwork is compliant and all new hire data is entered into our HRIS timely
•
Coordinate HR projects, meetings, events, and trainings
•
Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations
•
Ensure all employee electronic and paper files are maintained properly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
•
Periodic review and auditing of the I-9 folders to ensure regulatory compliance
•
Daily review and response to messages on the Human Resources phone line, fax line, and Lakewood Human Resources Outlook mailbox
•
Maintain Human Resources related training records
•
Monitor, order, and maintain HR department supply levels
•
Exhibit dependability and reliability inclusive of regular attendance
•
Other duties as assigned
•

Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
•
Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church
Benefits
•
Rate: Up to $23 per hour dependent on experience
•
Assist in the administration of our employee benefits program inclusive of the Annual Open Enrollment process
•
Assist with the processing of Workers Comp claims with our 3rd party administrator
