Join the Fund Development team as the Donor Marketing Coordinator. The Donor Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing strategy in coordination with the Vice President of Development and Stewardship for communicating with donors in addition to providing marketing support for the agency. The successful candidate will utilize skills to produce communications/marketing tools designed to evoke a positive response from donors or other audiences while reinforcing the Catholic Charities brand.
The Expertise We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field

  • Three (3) years in nonprofit marketing/communications

The Skills and Assets You Bring, and More
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

  • You have a working knowledge of Raisers Edge and Online Express, or equivalent donor data management and communications platforms

  • You have a working knowledge of WordPress or equivalent website content management platform

  • You have a working knowledge of platform for scheduling and approval of social media

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • You can handle and maintain confidential information

  • You have a working knowledge of presentation projector

What you Deliver


  • You maintain a high level of knowledge of the agency and its programs while coordinating and implementing marketing activities in support of fundraising, with donors as the primary audience:
    • Printed and electronic donor solicitations
    • Writing and graphic design of printed materials such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, and report
    • Cultivate relationships with vendor
    • Advertisements for parish bulletins, Archdiocesan, and other publications
    • E-mail newsletters and updates sent to strategically selected groups of constituents
    • Website content, design, and analytics, including use of SEO
    • Strategic use of social media
    • Photography at fundraising events and in other settings
    • Video production in coordination with Director of Communications
    • Other tactics as identified based on changing needs
      • Logo branded promotional materials
      • Fixed building signage and electronic signage
      • Printed materials such as newsletters, posters, brochures, flyers, and reports
  • You promote awareness and consistent use of the agency’s brand and programs through a variety of media:

You collaborate with the Director of Communications in planning and executing internal communications such as employee newsletters and notifications.

  • You collaborate with the Director of Communications in departmental budgeting and financial record-keeping.

  • You perform other duties as assigned
