Email Coordinator - Marketing

The Email Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, layout, and scheduling of emails and SMS. Working alongside with the email specialist, helps builds and sends individual email campaigns and other SMS to subscribers and constituents.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Email Marketing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Apply knowledge of email markup and styling standards using Emarsys templates.
Responsible for executing SMS campaigns, from building to scheduling
Provide assistance on tasks and scheduling items for Email team
Maintain a collaborative environment among the team and other members about the schedule of work.
Work with marketing teams to schedule and manage the lifecycle of email marketing campaigns
Monitor analytics and reporting on emails/SMS and recommend launch times
Ensure email messages are properly constructed to adhere to industry best practices and Lakewood Joel Osteen expectations.
Other duties as assigned.

Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church
QUALIFICATIONS
Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, mission, values, and core beliefs
Strong work ethic and an attitude to solve problems and manage situations quickly and effectively
Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills
The ability to communicate in both written and spoken English and Spanish languages is preferred
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and friendly disposition
Able to give and receive constructive critique
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, 4 years of equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a web coordinator, producer, strategist, or equivalent preferred
