Facilities Coordinator
Position reports to Operations & Facilities Lead
Full-Time
Monday – Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm
Saturday, occasional and only as required
Position Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining a comprehensive business operations program for the Church. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for using any Church-owned or leased facilities, including all buildings, grounds, equipment, furnishings, and vehicles.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
The Facilities Coordinator shall possess reasonable operational skills, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Individuals must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and fleet management. Further, the individual must have a working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, enabling the ability to maintain various facilities inventory programs that ensure the efficient operations of the church campuses, assets, and vehicles.
Essential Accountabilities:
The Facilities Coordinator shall serve the Church in carrying out the operations and maintenance of the church and campus grounds.
Campus Properties & Assets
Maintain a physical tagged inventory of all Church-owned property and equipment.
Assist in the distribution of keys on an as-needed/as-requested basis. Maintain building and room key authorization lists.
Assist the Operations & Facilities Lead with inventorying and disposing of all properties and tangible gifts donated to the Church.
Facilities/Operations Maintenance
Oversee the maintenance program of the campus buildings and grounds.
Follow the established routine maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds schedule.
Assist in managing a building preventative maintenance program.
Assist in the completion of maintenance and repair of physical properties.
Assist in completing periodic maintenance reviews of all campus buildings and grounds.
Recommend needed maintenance and improvements.
Recommend long-range needs for campus and grounds maintenance and enhancements.
Provide oversight in ensuring the kitchen area is clean in the support and maintenance of the kitchen ministry.
Provide oversight in necessary room set-ups for scheduled meetings and events.
Oversee all after-hour events and assign space on an as-needed or as-required basis.
Notify the Operations Manager of the need to order materials/supplies.

Possesses a working knowledge of machines, tools, and other equipment used to perform the
Knowledge of City of Houston Building Codes, OSHA, HAZMAT, and MSDS required guidelines.
Assist in the Goods 360 pick-ups on an as-needed or as-required basis.
Facilities Staff and Community Service Workers
Monitor or perform maintenance and cleaning of facilities as needed.
Identify and prioritize maintenance schedules.
Provide direction and oversight to the Community Service Workers.
