Join the Refugee Resettlement team as a File Clerk. The File Clerk has an essential responsibility within the Refugee Resettlement Program; a file clerk's job is multifaceted and highly committed to protecting client data and file organization. The file clerk will use the current file system organization to maintrecordscord effectively.

The Expertise We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED

  • One (1) year of experience

  • You demonstrate success in dealing with a variety of people.

  • You can handle confidential client information.

  • You are proficient in MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)


What you Deliver
You maintain, complete clients’ files, and assure completeness and compliance with funding requirements. They are collecting appropriate income information to determine the client’s eligibility for the Program and requesting checks for client direct and vendor assistance. Scan documents to make electronic copies and ensure that electronic and paper copies are painted adequately maintained new case files (complex files and database records) on Client Track database form, typing and photocopying COA and Refugee Resettlement department forms, checking for accuracy files and database entries, maintaining and ordering supplies, preparing and sending correspondence with STOR if problems with or In Client Track database occur, maintaining case service statistics. Keep the work room organized and clean. Organize files into alphabetical order, enter data on Client Track, maintain consistent data records, and close files when the program is completed. Enter information of services for each client in the RMS database and compare data for accuracy with the Client Track database.

  • You ensure all new documents are entered into the database accurately and appropriately. Classify information logically based on content, purpose, etc. Clean and maintain filespace Ensures all loaned files are filed correctly. Ensures no documents in the file are lost.

  • You perform other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor.
