Position Summary

This position plays a critical role in the overall success of the facility. On a daily basis, the employee must accurately relay information between upper management and staff, establish excellent customer service, monitor and aid in facility amenities, and perform other related duties.

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support daily operations of the Fitness Center.
Assist in the design, coordination, and implementation of member/client retention programs related to service area.
Maintain a working knowledge of equipment and oversees regular cleaning and maintenance duties of all equipment.
Coordinate staffing of Fitness Center programs and activities.
Create, monitor, and maintain Front Desk, Aquatics, Fitness Floor Monthly Schedule and efficiently handle all issues that arise in scheduling.
Provide training/onboarding for new employees for all areas of the facility.
Track and report all statistics related to ongoing programs.
Provide clerical support for the Director.
Adhere to all HBU policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity
Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
One year of experience in service segment, such as group exercise, fitness equipment operation, nutritional wellness, spa and/or conferencing.
Supervisory experience in a fitness center environment preferred.
CPR/AED certified. First Aid certified preferred but not required.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook.
Performs duties with accountability, competency, innovative, collaboration, compassion and respect to create the best possible outcomes with exceptional customer experience.
