JOB DESCRIPTION
The Guest Relation Specialist provides a warm welcome to all weekday visitors and guests at Lakewood Church. This position entails providing an overall friendly welcome, answering any visitor questions, arranging guest tours, and assisting with directions and other inquiries. This person will be stationed at the West Grand Entrance to greet people with a welcoming posture and provide general assistance.
REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greets visitors, guests, and contractors; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Displays a warm and welcoming attitude toward every person. All people should be treated equal and special.
- Provides information about facility, programs, classes, and other services
- Gives basic and accurate information in-person and via phone
- Keep detailed and accurate record of visitors
- Provides tours of the facility as needed
- Captures any stories and testimonies from visitors
- Relays messages to staff as needed
- Notify staff of visitor upon arrival
- Maintains reception area in a clean and tidy manner
MINISTERIAL DUTIES

You are responsible for communicating the Church’s beliefs and our mission to our congregants, to maintain a lifestyle consistent with the Scriptures, and you are required to belong to the Church as part of our faith community. This will also include:
- Regular attendance at Church services and classes
- Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
- Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, values, and core beliefs
- Cheery, polite, and patient disposition
- Knowledgeable about Lakewood Church history, facility, and classes
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Demonstrated Christ like Character
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate effective time management skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Some college preferred
- Minimum 2- 5 years of experience in a similar role
