Join the HR Team as the Temporary HR Coordinator! The HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition role aids the Talent Acquisition Team in seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications and placing them in open roles within the agency. This role provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed, including all pre-boarding paperwork and requirements, coordinating job fairs and hiring events, coordinating New Hire Orientation, coordinating interviews etc. The HR Coordinator is often exposed to all human resources procedures and may assist with tasks throughout all areas of the HR department as needed. The position has an active role in ensuring all human resources functions complying with local, state, federal and funder regulations.

The Expertise Were Looking For

You have a high school diploma or GED
You have 2 years experience in Human Resources
Must have a Notary Certificate, or able to obtain within 6 months of employment
Valid Texas Driver’s License

You are proficient in MS Office products, especially SharePoint, Word, and Excel and easily able to adapt to new technologies.

What you Deliver

Provides administrative support to Talent Acquisition Specialists (TAS).
Assess candidate applications/resumes to ensure a highly qualified and diverse candidate pool.
Conduct pre-screenings and schedule interviews for TAS and Hiring Managers.
Works with the Human Resources team in the planning, communicating, and tracking of company-wide special events throughout the year.
Works with TAS and HRBP’s to coordinate and set-up New Hire Orientation and complete I-9 and E-verify.
Facilitate the pre-boarding process by working with the pre-hire to complete pre-boarding clearances and documentation in compliance with funder and agency requirements.
Ensure all pre-hire files are accurate and complete for all new hires (prior to start date).
Track progress of each pre-hire and communicate to the TAS weekly where they are with pre-boarding.
Work with the TAS in the coordinating and participating in recruitment events.
Work with TAS to post positions to external websites and track postings.
Research potential events, groups, websites and sources that will lead to increase pool of candidates.
Work with HR team to complete ongoing HR projects and initiatives.
Provide notary for HR department and for employees within the agency as needed.
Proactively assist the TA team with a wide variety of administrative tasks to allow TAS to maximize their time on critical TA initiatives.
Support TAS in the creation of job requisition and posting of jobs externally and ensures timely completion.
