Join the Family Assistance team as the Intake Operations Specialist. The Intake Operation Specialist completes initial intake information on client for scheduling and provide information and referral if needed. Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients, and customers. Assist case worker with data entry. General administrative and clerical support.

The Expertise We're Looking For

 


  • High School diploma or GED

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License

  • You maintain a neat and clean reception area.

  • You have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • You have knowledge of computers and willingness to learn new software applications

  • You have knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • You have effective verbal and written communication skills

  • You have the ability to multitask, manage high volume phone and/or clients, and work with diverse group of people from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds

  • You have the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

 


What you Deliver

 


  • You answer telephone, screen, and direct calls.

  • You complete initial client intake forms and assist case worker with data entry.

  • You take and relay messages.

  • You provide information and referrals as needed.

  • You greet visitors and clients.

  • You direct persons to correct destination.

  • You deal with queries from the public and customers.

  • You do general administrative and clerical support.

  • You maintain a neat and clean reception area.

  • You perform other duties as assigned.
