Mission and Vision

Function

First and foremost, personally, and spiritually, the Interim Communications Coordinator is to walk with God. We each are called to cultivate a healthy relationship with Him, and at the same time maintain a healthy personal/family life. These are our most important responsibilities; everything else is subordinate to these.

Vocationally, the Interim Communications Coordinator serves an administrative role for Grace Fellowship and its staff. Through the role of collaborator and strategist the coordinator conveys the church’s voice, brand and story.

The Interim Communications Coordinator reports to the Administrative Pastor and is located at Grace Fellowship offices in Katy, TX. This position is responsible for communications function including, but not limited to, conceptualizing, and producing messaging consistent with Grace Fellowship’s mission, vision, strategy, and goals, while publishing engaging content in relevant digital, web, and video mediums.

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Communicate ministry directed content with a common Grace Fellowship voice.
  • Creation of and publishing messaging for social media platforms and the church website including graphic design and video editing.
  • Create and produce digital collateral for special events and promotions.
  • Build, update and serve as gatekeeper for the website including sermon archives.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Graphic Design or related field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of digital media landscape including social media platforms, video editing and graphic design.
  • Prior experience working in a church preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency with Adobe Suites, website administration and app management.

Salary & Benefits

The salary will be commensurate with experience. This position is a temporary position. Timeframe to be discussed with candidate.

Working Hours

You are encouraged to develop a working schedule that maximizes both time with your family and productive time accomplishing the job. It is assumed that you will work a minimum of 20 hours per week Monday – Friday.

Work Authorization
Employees must be authorized to work in United States under Federal requirements.
