Join the Refugee Resettlement team as the Refugee Cash Assistance Manager. The Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the Refugee Cash Assistance program in accordance with the requirements of the RCA grant. The Manager, RCA will provide support and oversight for the Supervisor, RCA. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the RCA program, display the ability to professionally communicate with funders, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
The Expertise We're Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field -
Three (3) years of experience in social service or similar setting

Two (2) years in a management role

Valid Texas Driver’s License

You have knowledge of leadership principles and best practices. -
You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to influence others.

You have the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

You have the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

You have nonprofit experience is preferred, but not required.

You have experience with applicable software e.g., MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
What you Deliver
-
You improve case file documentation and provide trainings on best practices in RCA. -
You communicate with the State Refugee Coordinator to problem solve or to provide technical assistance to staff. Intervene and offer guidance with difficult cases.

You prepare and monitor voucher requests for Director's signature. Prepare monthly report for accounting and complete periodic reports required by the agency as well as the Texas Office for Refugees (TXOR)

You provide quality improvement for the Refugee Cash Assistance program

You ensure that all RCA staff are updated on guidelines given by TXOR
-
You coordinate interpretation and translation services for clients, as needed.

You maintain clients' files and assuring completeness and compliance with funding requirements. Entering all data to RDC accurately and timely.

You collaborate with the Managers and Supervisors from other programs in the refugee resettlement department to provide comprehensive, holistic, and thorough services to all clients.

You perform other duties, as assigned.
