Join the Refugee Resettlement team as the Short-Term Integration Manager. The Manager, Short-Term Integration is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the Matching Grant (MG), Reception and Placement (R&P), and Housing programs in accordance with grant requirements. The Manager, Short-Term Integration will provide support and oversight to the Housing Supervisor and the Short-Term Integration Supervisor. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the MG, R&P, and Housing programs, display the ability to professionally communicate with funders, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
The Expertise We're Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field
Three (3) years of experience in social service or similar setting
Two (2) years in a management role
Valid Texas Driver’s License

You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to influence others.
You have the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
You have the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
You have nonprofit experience is preferred, but not required.
You have experience with applicable software e.g., MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
What you Deliver
You improve case file documentation and provide trainings to staff on best practices for working with newly arrived refugees.
You communicate with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Program Officer to problem solve or request to provide technical assistance to staff working in the R&P and MG programs. Intervene and offer guidance for difficult cases.
You create, manage, and monitor R&P and MG budget, build budget for R&P/MG direct assistance and track expenditures. Prepare monthly report for accounting and complete periodic reports required by the agency as well as USCCB.
You provide quality improvement for housing, MG, and R&P program.
You collaborate with accounting staff and Financial Manager to ensure efficient voucher processing for R&P/MG programs.
You track assigned refugee cases and complete verification to USCCB. Maintain record of refugee arrivals and assign Case Managers
You provide support and guidance to Supervisor, Short-Term Integration on issues including client funds, emergency assistance, crisis intervention, etc.
You coordinate interpretation and translation services for clients, as needed.
You ensure client files are complete and in compliance with the agency quality and compliance as well as funder requirements.
You collaborate with the Managers and Supervisors from other programs in the refugee resettlement department to provide comprehensive, holistic, and thorough services to all clients.
You perform other duties, as assigned.
