Production Assistant
Marketing Department
Non-Exempt
Rate: Up to $18 per hour dependent on experience

Lakewood Church & Joel Osteen Ministries is looking for an experienced, methodical Production Assistant who will help facilitate and support video and photo content for marketing throughout all media channels.
As the Production Assistant, you will be responsible for working closely with the Lakewood creative studio to drive well thought-out production plans and processes. This person has a passion for photography, videography, and brings a laser-focused attention to detail and experience working with creative teams.
This position will report directly to the Director of Creative Content.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinate projects with photography and videography team
Collaborate and coordinate with subject matter experts and cross-functional team members to manage projects
Create content when needed, primarily photography and some light video
Participate in key meetings to help manage action items: project deadlines, scopes of work & approval process
Responsible for digital library, meta data, tagging, access management and archiving
Support coordinating production for pre-production to post-production
Act as Content team liaison, along with project manager on inner ministry content needs
Collaborate daily with marketing project manager on other specific departmental content needs
Support photo and video shoots as grip, camera or lighting assistant, and shot list management
Scout and book shoot locations, work with Executive Producer to schedule production meetings
Manage camera footage deliveries, backups and implement best practices for post-production standards
Help coordinate talent booking, schedule and communicate logistics for shoots
Other duties as assigned
MINISTERIAL DUTIES

Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church
QUALIFICATIONS
Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, mission, values, and core beliefs
Proficiency with Office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or Mac software
Proficiency with Adobe software, including Lightroom, Premier Pro, Photoshop and/or cloud storage software
Skillset to shoot both photo and video with a professional camera and have post-editing abilities
Understanding of pre and post production requirements
Strong professionalism, communication skills and sense of urgency
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and friendly disposition
Able to receive constructive feedback
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and report status updates
Must have a awareness of social media and content trends
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associates or bachelor’s degree in photography, digital arts, photojournalism, cinematography, film video production, graphic design, visual communication or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
2+ years of experience in establishing photo/video shoot locations and operations
