ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Assist the manager in providing the administrative and clerical details required to ensure the adequate staffing, training, and daily operations of the department
- Assist with the coordinating of meetings and appointments as directed
- Coordinate with Lakewood Events department for the logistical needs for KidsLife events
- Compose and mail routine internal and external correspondence
- Respond to all calls, emails, and letters requesting information
- Assist with the planning of volunteers and paid staff in assigned ministry areas during services
- Recruit and oversee Sunday office volunteers
- Recruit and participate with the KidsLife information counter volunteers and the connection process for new families
- Attend weekly KidsLife staff meetings
- Support the processing and onboarding of volunteers
- Assist with communication with volunteer leaders and staff
- Handle sensitive, confidential information and assignments with tact, discretion, and diplomacy
- Perform general office duties and special projects as required
- Participate in the development and execution of Kids life Events and Team Meetings
- Other duties as assigned

- Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
- Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church.
- Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Some colleges preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative position preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of volunteer ministry experience preferred
