ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Oversee the adequate staffing, development, and training of the operations staff and support teams within KidsLife for all services and events
Manage the first point of connection with families and volunteers experience, ensuring that it is positive, encouraging, and engaging
Ensure that all Lakewood Church and KidsLife safety and security policies are properly implemented and adhered to
Coordinate with the Lakewood Volunteer Screening department to ensure all KidsLife volunteers have been screened in alignment with Lakewood's screening policies and Child Safety requirements
Manage and direct the recruiting and orientation of KidsLife volunteers for in-person services.
Develop and oversee the prospective volunteer experience to insure that it is timely, inviting, thorough, and friendly
Oversee the CRM management process of KidsLife for prospective volunteers relative to interviews, reference checks and on-boarding
Oversee KidsLife logistics and operations for regular service events and special event weekends
Participate in the development and execution of KidsLife events and team meetings
Manage Planning Center Online for the purposes of service check-ins, service reports, volunteer management, and family communications
Train and support registration teams for services, ensuring consistent hospitality is being given to families
Manage the KidsLife department budget process, ensuring all accounting, events, and facilities documents are processed and submitted in a timely manner
Working closely with the Sr. Director on approvals and monthly budget allotments
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sr. Director

Ministerial Duties/ Responsibilities

This will also include:

Regular attendance at Church services and classes
Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church
Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church.

Qualifications

Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, values and core beliefs
Growing and committed follower of Christ
Previous experience in leading and developing administrative processes
Previous experience in leading ministry volunteer teams
Ability to organize, develop, and lead volunteer leaders
Ability to communicate effectively to adults and children both orally and in writing
Pastoral heart, self–motivated, and diplomatic
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred experience with a CRM platform
Previous experience with Planning Center Online (PCO) platform is a plus

Education / Experience

A college degree is required
2+ years of experience working within a children's ministry is preferred
2+ years of managerial experience is preferred
