JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Product Coordinator II position coordinates the movement of product inventory for Joel Osteen Ministries (JOM) and Lakewood Church (LWC). Under general supervision, this position serves internal and external customers with intermediate accounting and clerical functions, including data record entry and communications. It requires established competency with the operations and objectives of an internal purchase order and inventory management system. This position reports directly to the Financial Reporting Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of LWC policies and procedures related to the Inventory department
Create, update and maintain product codes in AX, CRM, and other systems
Maintain updated cost in AX of products
Coordinate and enter product purchase orders for approval
Receipt product purchase orders upon arrival
Prepare transfer journals and coordinate movement between warehouses and locations.
Prepare adjustments to inventory when necessary.
Prepare items and follow up with vendor for returns to ensure proper credit.
Reconcile invoice received with the packing slip and original order to submit an invoice for payment
Coordinate logistics and perform test counts and variance analysis for the annual bookstore and PBD inventory counts.
Support Bookstore in organizing and maintaining proper descriptions, costs, classes, and categories for all inventory
Assist customer service and data service department with order inquiries related to product availability
Prepare monthly journal entries as needed
Initial liaison between LWC and warehouse
Develop knowledge and understanding of LWC/JOM product and source code strategies related to inventory items
Prepare monthly open PO report for month-end reporting
Reconcile and close open POs
Review of CRM/AX/Warehouse order status to ensure designed workflow is working
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, values, and core beliefs
Typing proficiency of at least 50-60WPM with 85-90% accuracy
Intermediate knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
Ability to work independently and with a team, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all records
Ability to prioritize tasks/duties
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
Some College Coursework in Accounting, Finance, or General Business
2+ years of recent related experience in inventory or general accounting
