Qualifications: Walk closely with Christ; demonstrate an ongoing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ Self-starter with high ability at self-discipline and self-direction Community-minded team player with the capacity to regularly interact with a wide variety of students and educators with professionalism, dignity, and respect Eager to embrace and shape the Bethel team with a high value on doing excellent work, valuing personal experience, and empowering others to do their job Proactive and mature in dealing with conflict and personnel issues Able to efficiently organize, communicate, and delegate tasks while collaborating with co-workers and volunteers to see ideas through to completion Ability to work well with Foundry staff and Bethel students Possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) Preferred Experience Experience in higher education; with a passion for creating accessible pathways to higher education Experience as small group leader, college RA/RD, or church internship would be beneficial Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher) or equivalent Responsibilities Work closely with Foundry ministry teams and Pastors to ensure missional engagement and alignment between BU-X and the church. Collaborate with ministry leaders to incorporate BU-X into the life of Foundry (chapel, mission experiences, marketing, staff engagement, Coordinate with representatives from the University’s BU-X team Promote the business relationship by recruiting students to the site, in collaboration with University admissions and marketing teams Use reasonable efforts to ensure ongoing compliance with University marketing guidelines and policies Assist the University in communication with adjunct faculty and students in accordance with the University’s goals and objectives communicated from time to time for the Site Director by the University Provide a social support network for students, including access to mentors (i.e., time management, life skills, and academic disciplines) Ensure that social and spiritual opportunities are created for students, and, if applicable, provide basic support for adjunct faculty working at the Site Ensure the development and maintenance of a practicum program according to University standards Identify ministry supervisors or mentors who oversee student activities, train said individuals, and help students submit necessary materials to University Provide timely responses to University liaisons and initiate input regarding the academic programs, support systems, and other resources for the Site. Use reasonable efforts to ensure the 12-month planning and execution of the Site activities, from recruitment events and materials to FAFSA reminders, registration coaching, social and spiritual events, mentors, practicum sign-ups, and the like Ensure that the facilities are setup and prepared to meet the needs for BU-X during the week and The Foundry for programs and weekend services
