Lakewood Church is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to assist the church and Joel Osteen Ministries with approximately 12 social media sites and multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, with nearly 40,000,000 followers. The Social Media Coordinator will play an important role in ensuring the Hope message of this ministry is published timely and accurately across all platforms.

Responsibilities

Writing (for Lakewood only), editing, scheduling, and posting content for posting across various social media platforms.
Providing creative input on content.
Schedule content to be published across all social media platforms on a daily and weekly basis.
This includes Today’s Word, regular updates for Lakewood ministries, and service invitations on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Obtain speaker quotes for all English mid-week, weekend services, and special events.
Be a part of Live Online Service Experience.
This includes communicating, engaging, and mediating online services.
Create live streams on Facebook for all live services and monitor comments.
Monitor and engage on all Lakewood Church platforms as Lakewood Church.
Assist the Social Media manager to gather social media analytics.
Other duties as may be request from time to time by Lakewood.

Qualifications:
Previous experience with social media in a professional environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel and personalities
Ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple assignments concurrently
Availability to work during service times, nights, weekends, holidays, and attend events as needed
Passion for social media and new media technology
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
Strong work ethic, with positive attitude and leadership qualities
Technical and/or graphic design experience a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently and is self-motivated

Education & Experience

Marketing degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in social media coordinating or assisting is required
Some professional training on social platforms is preferred
