Senior Manager of Creative Services - Next Gen Ministry
Job Description
The Senior Manager of Creative Services has a passion to use current social media platforms to engage and motivate individuals in their Christian faith journey. This person manages the Next Gen Creative Services team to develop creative that promotes and supports all Next Gen events and initiatives. This position works under the direction of the Next Gen Pastor.
Essential Job Functions
Leverage various digital media platforms with an engaging passion to encourage a viewer's faith journey.
Work with the Next Gen pastoral team and the Creative Services team to create beautiful, effective marketing for our events and initiatives.
Work closely with the Next Gen team and Project Manager to set priorities and the intake of work for Creative Services
Plan and manage Creative Services team tasks
Work with Creative Services team members to insure they have the appropriate information, direction, assets and resources to accomplish their tasks
Provide creative direction for all aspects of creative, including design and writing.
Review and approve creative to insure marketing objectives are met
Assure that creative services work is in compliance with professional standards, church standards and brand execution requirements
Work with project stakeholders to produce the best product possible given available resources.
Work with the Project Manager to insure creative deadlines are met
Develop the overarching process of how work moves through the Next Gen Creative Services
Qualifications
Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, mission, values, and core beliefs
Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and friendly disposition
Able to give and receive constructive critique
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong work ethic and an attitude to solve problems and manage situations quickly and effectively
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts or related field preferred
7 years creative or marketing experience preferred but not required
5+ years of experience leading or directing creative teams preferred but not required
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
