The Strategic Partnerships and Outreach Teams Coordinator is fully committed to Jesus and intensely motivated to inspire non-religious Houstonians to follow Jesus. This individual is a goal-oriented self-starter who understands that the goals of Christian leadership are 1) to serve and not to be served, 2) to empower others to do the work of God’s kingdom, and 3) to become a leader who raises up leaders who raise up leaders.
The Story is in partnership with several organizations in Houston and in the Dominican Republic that are just as committed to spreading the gospel while offering social services that are contextual and effective in aiding communities in need. The person in this position will be a liaison between these organizations and The Story congregation.
The individual in this role will meet the following goals:
- Develop our current partnerships by working with each organization to support them through resourcing and by connecting individuals from our church in active service with each of the partnerships.
- Developing The Story’s outreach teams. This includes, but is not limited to: recruiting and training team leadership to represent each partnership, recruiting team members, organizing and deploying the teams, and supervising team leaders.
- Organizing and leading Outreach Sunday events.
- Organizing and executing holiday church-wide events to support TSC’s strategic partners.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in TSH outwardly focused events where people outside the church community can be introduced to the church.
- Staff gatherings in general, and staff fun nights

This position is full-time. Salary is based on experience.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
