Join our Refugee Resettlement team as the Medical Services Supervisor! The Supervisor, Medical Case Management will coordinate the medical case management program and supervise employees working under the medical case management program. The Supervisor, Medical Case Management will ensure that thorough assessments are conducted for clients, quality services are provided, and services are documented accurately in case notes. The Supervisor, Medical Case Management will support the Preferred Communities program and ensure that all reporting is submitted on time and all other requirements of the grant are met. The successful candidate will be organized, demonstrate initiative, and display respect and courtesy when interacting with other staff, clients, and community members.

The Expertise We're Looking For

Associate Degree; or

Two (2) years of experience in lieu of education

Two (2) years of experience in a social service setting or similar setting

One (1) year of experience in a leadership role

Valid Texas Driver’s License

You have knowledge of leadership principles and best practices.

You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to influence others.

You have the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

You have the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

You have nonprofit experience is preferred, but not required.

You have experience with applicable software e.g. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)

What you Deliver

You will assist the Program Manager in assessing potential clients for eligibility in the medical case management program. Ensure that intakes are conducted in a timely manner and thorough assessments are completed. Provide or arranges for interpreters when necessary.

You provide guidance and supervision of case management team and support staff. Monitor performance, provides training and development.

You provide support needed to case managers to ensure that clients are served effectively and efficiently.

You submit regular reports to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, inter-agency reports, and collect other program data requested by the Program Manager. Attends all webinars and trainings required for the program. Ensure that client files are maintained accurately.

You assist Case Managers to advocate for client’s needs to doctors, health professionals, insurance companies, etc.

You perform others duties as assigned by Program Manager such as providing health literacy workshops to refugee clients, providing training to interested medical professionals, and outreaching to and collaborating with community stakeholders in efforts to provide more holistic services.
