SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in a Communications-related field and minimum two years of professional video production experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in production management or able managing creatives
  • A pro-active work ethic including a self-motivated drive for quality and creativity.

  • Excellent project management skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task several projects at the same time.

  • Maintain an organized repository of digital assets that can be easily shared amongst the design teams
  • Strong knowledge of post-production workflow and the latest video production techniques
  • Proficiency to write and speak in English and Spanish is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of video, audio, lighting, broadcast hardware and software, (e.g., Blackmagic Video Systems, Waves, GrandMA lighting systems, Adobe Premier, FinalCut, Davinci Resolve), online live-streaming.

· Experience in all aspects of church worship services and event production, including lighting, video, audio; live, broadcast and streaming media, stage and set design and build.

PRIMARY MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of Video producers: Time off requests, scheduling, art direction to ensure brand consistency.
  • Consult with clients to produce creative storytelling through preparing a design plan, storyboards, concept, and layout for your motion graphic projects.
  • Design and creation of assets, bringing them to life, outputting, and delivering high-quality and innovative video content.
  • Ability to work on weekend events when needed.
  • Collaborating with videographers on the design, set up, and execution of videos.

· Create video promos, teasers, event recaps, videos for church conferences, approved events, ideation of sermon intros and teasers, and large projects

  • Ability to conceptualize, strategize, create, and produce long and short form video projects and motion graphic designs. Pre-production: concept meetings, scriptwriting, storyboarding, scheduling, organizing talent and crew, and budgeting.

Other Duties may include:

  • Production: equipment set up and strike, location scouting, set building, prop making, lighting, camera operation, photography, directing, acquisition of video and audio.
  • Post-production: logging, digitizing, editing, design, mixing, color correction, and output to various media formats.
  • Assists with research, purchase, installation and maintenance of video production systems and studio.
  • Recruits and deploy teams of church members to participate in video production work
  • Create compelling film and video content for weekend services (including a growing Online Campus), our website, and social media.
  • support campus-specific projects and create content for special seasonal events like Easter and Christmas. You will use your filmmaking skills to tell stories that move people to action.
  • Maintain Sugar Creek visual/verbal brand and strategy
  • Support outreach/ministry efforts of other ministry teams
  • Track time and progress of assigned projects daily basis.
