We ♥ NYC

According to an article from the New York State, We ♥ NYC celebrates New Yorkers who are making a difference through community service and will serve as the launch event for the citywide campaign.

The event will also identify volunteer opportunities that anybody may participate in.

Gov. Hochul stated that New York City exemplifies the state's finest attributes, from its famous views and bustling arts and culture to its thriving enterprises and world-class cuisine.

The campaign will help preserve the city's spirit by encouraging New Yorkers of all backgrounds to come together, become active, and make a good change in their community, the governor added.

Moreover, Mayor Adams said that We ♥ NYC urges everyone who loves the greatest city in the world to demonstrate their affection by offering a hand and spreading love to every block in the five boroughs.

As mentioned, the campaign is led by marketing expert Maryam Banikarim, and their team at MaryamB, working with advertising agency Founders, Grain Group, and Graham Clifford.

In addition, the campaign logo is a trademarked modification of the "I NY" campaign logo created by Milton Glaser in 1977.

The New York State Department of Economic Development, which owns both marks, made the adaptation accessible at no cost.
