The Catholic Charities Junior Board invites its members and friends to the gathering as fall activities kick in.

Catholic Charities Junior Board Fall Kick-Off Event Details

As per the Eventbrite post, the Catholic Charities Junior Board Fall Kick-Off event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Winslow, 243 E 14th St, New York.

The event is reportedly a gathering to welcome the new members of the organizations. This event is also expected to unveil their plans for the Junior Board's fall and winter calendar of activities.

The Executive Committee of the Board will also be in the gathering to meet the members and answer all the questions about the organization and events, as reported.

Aside from the Junior Board members and friends, the organization also invites young professionals. They want experts to attend so they will know more about the programs and advocacies of the Catholic Charities.

As mentioned, the event will be an evening of food, experience, drinks, and fellowship. 

The kick-off event is reportedly free, but it is required to register to their Eventbrite page to join the event.

About the Catholic Charities Junior Board

According to its website, the Catholic Charities Junior Board is described as a 'fun group' of charitable young professionals ages 21 to 40.

Accordingly, the primary objective of the Junior Board is to help the St. Nicholas Project which provides for the needs of needy families during winter.

The Junior Board provides support to the events and programs of the Catholic Charities to help people who are in need in the community. They help these residents through fundraising, volunteering, and networking, as reported.

The following are reportedly the activities organized by the Junior Board in support of the programs of the Catholic Charities.

  • Annual Junior Board Christmas in July Benefit
  • Catholic Charities Adopt-A-Family program
  • Membership Donations for St. Nicholas Project

Moreover, they also host activities, art tours, as well as meet and greets with other agencies and organizations. They are doing these to strengthen the connections of their Catholic faith, as reported.

They also volunteer for the Catholic Charities' Federation of 90 Agencies programs such as hosting a party for senior citizens, packing meals for 9/11 day, and volunteering at the St. Nicholas project.

The Catholic Charities Junior Board welcomes membership requests across the state to join the organization in various ways such as follows:

  • Attend meetings and various social events
  • Join volunteer events of the Junior Board at least four times includes the St. Nicholas shopping day annually
  • Support the fundraising events for the St. Nicholas projects by helping the Christmas in July benefit ticket sales and the Adopt-A-Family campaign.
  • Get familiarized with the Catholic Charities Code of Ethics

The membership was reportedly composed of three membership levels such as General Member, Fellow, and Patron to give them details on the level of engagement they have to spend with the Catholic Charities.
