According to an article from The Tablet, Sist. Carol Woods works with the Franciscan Federation of the Sisters and Brothers in the United States. She is there to promote vocation and strengthen the connection with other religions.
Sister Carol reportedly said that they aim to sustain the religious voice of the community, for it represents what they are and what was their purpose.
She also added that they are working with Franciscan colleges to disseminate the purpose of the Federation and talked about how they can work together to serve the community better, as reported.
As mentioned, the nun has been serving and working with various religious communities to build and organize a plan for the betterment of the community.
Moreover, her dedication to helping the religious community has brought her to different places, including Holyoke, Massachusetts, Baltimore, and Williamsburg.

As reported, she graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School and went to a public high school due to financial reasons.
She then graduated with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies at the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York. She earned her master’s degree in religion at St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore.
Moreover, Sister Carol first entered the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Assisi community as a junior college student.
Accordingly, she shared what she did and how she entered the community. For her, the journey speaks of her simplicity, happiness, and service to the people who were the ones who inspired her to be one of them.
