The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, based in New York City, has recently hosted and invited the youths for its ACT camp sessions.
As reported, the camp sessions started on June 27 and will end on Aug. 26 at the expansive grounds of the church, located at 1047 Amsterdam Ave.
2022 ACT Camp Sessions
As per the post of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, the Advancing the Community of Tomorrow (ACT) gives both the youths and their families excellent quality services that will enhance the ability of the children to nurture and support their abilities through collaborative activities.
The camp sessions reportedly offer nursery, afterschool, school break, summer programs for youths, and the newly added outreach programs that were designed for low-income families.
The ACT aims to widen the variety of nurturing, creative, and educational summer camp activities for both families and youths, as reported.
Accordingly, creative crafts, water rides, and outdoor games are the activities that will be included in the summer camp sessions.
As per the post, the ACT is providing financial assistance to those children and youths who cannot afford childhood education programs through the scholarship grants of the West Harlem Development Corporation.
Moreover, the church assured all the families of the participants that all the children would be safe and secure during the nine-week collaborative activities in the summer camp sessions.
The church invited all the youths of all ages to join and participate in the ACT camp sessions, as posted.

According to the website, Advancing the Community of Tomorrow (ACT) is part of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine programs in education and outreach. It was reportedly founded in 1971.
The ACT was designed to nurture and develop the skills and knowledge of the youths all over the church through its programs and collaborative activities, as reported.
Moreover, ACT reportedly also offers a scholarship for the families and youths around the state who have had no access to the programs offered by the organization for over five decades.
Furthermore, it reportedly offers a trustworthy community for both parents and children and has a well-trained staff to train the children.
About Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine
Based on its website, the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine started construction in 1892. It was reportedly the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of New York.
The Cathedral provides different events, community outreach activities, and programs to continue the legacy of the church.
Moreover, the Cathedral reportedly hosted the first annual Feast of Saint Francis and Blessing of the Animals, which happened to be one of the largest services hosted by the church.
