Desert Breeze Community Church opened a food drive on Wednesday, Oct. 26, for the upcoming Thanksgiving. The church collects names of beneficiaries for its outreach program.

Food Drive, “Need A Meal”

Desert Breeze Community Church shared it is conducting a Thanksgiving food drive, which began on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The food drive will be held until Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The church provided details through its website.

Desert Breeze Community Church stated that it acknowledges that holidays can be challenging for some.

In line with this, its community desires to help families to have a wonderful Thanksgiving this coming holiday season. It encouraged those who need a meal for Thanksgiving to sign-up.

Desert Breeze Community Church will deliver a bag full of meal items to the home or address given by Thanksgiving. Registered families will receive a bag of items for a Thanksgiving meal.

“Provide a Meal”

Desert Breeze also offered an opportunity to help others through its food drive. They said those interested in making families happy this Thanksgiving may sign-up and provide a meal.

The church requested all to put items in reusable grocery bags.

It also requested for items to be placed in the bags, including a $30-gift card for a turkey purchase and other perishable items, like instant potatoes, canned sweet potatoes, three jars or cans of gravy, stove top stuffing, and cranberry sauce.

The list also included five cans of vegetables, pie filling and boxed crust, an aluminum roasting pan, and a card of Encouragem.

Desert Breeze Community Church expressed gratitude to all for their help to the church families and friends.

Moreover, the church encouraged all to bring the completed bag of meal items DBCC by Nov. 16. Everyone can bring the Thanksgiving meals in time for this holiday.

It thanked everyone for helping make families’ Thanksgiving happier and sharing Jesus’ love through their kindness.

About Desert Breeze Community Church

According to its Facebook page, Desert Breeze Community Church is an avenue where strangers find friends and friends turn into family. It is located at 17600 N Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix. It invited all to check out its community and join one of its services.

Family Service happens on Saturdays from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. At the same time, service happens on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Before October ends, the church will gather men for Men’s Gaming Extravaganza.

The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Desert Breeze Community Church requested gentlemen from the church and others to register for this event.

It will feature competitive video games. Participants will gather in the Anomaly room. There will be a variety of board games in the BreezeWay.

The church will provide some popcorn. Still, it encouraged participants to bring their favorite snacks. A Board of Elders and pastors lead this faith community. Ray Davis serves as the Senior Pastor of Desert Breeze Community Church.

The church invited all to “come as they are.”
