Haven Church displayed an "Angel Tree" for its gift-giving program for kids. The church encouraged all to pick a tag from the tree and bring their unwrapped gifts to church until Sunday, Dec. 18. 

Angel Tree

Haven Church provided a way for all to sponsor a child in need this Christmas. It informed everyone about the Angel Tree it had set up at the church through its Facebook page. 

The church encouraged all to pick their Angel Tree tag. Moreover, it informed all that some tags were still in the tree. The church provided a contact number for anyone who wished to get their Angel Tree tag. 

According to its website, every year, The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps give Christmas gifts to hundreds of thousands of kids across the U.S. 

When a kid or senior adult has been signed up and accepted as an "angel", their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in the community who buy gifts of new toys and clothes. 

The gifts are given to families to put under their Christmas trees. The Salvation Army makes this gift-giving possible by collecting important information to determine who is qualified to join the program and other details about each Angel.

Salvation Army operates in the U.S. and Canada.

According to its Facebook page, Haven Church loves the Lord and people and is located at 5907 W Cactus Rd., Glendale. It invited all to join its church online and in person on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

Barry and Charlie Carney serve as the Lead Pastors at Haven Church. The couple joined the team in December 2018.

At the same time, Gary and Tammy Spruill work as the Executive Pastors of Haven Church. 

Andrew and Katie Carney are the Creative Pastors of the church, whereas Kyline and Caitlin Vick are the Youth Pastors.

On the other hand, Chris and Jayna Watts serve as the Outreach Pastors, Paula and Vangie Magnuson serve as the Senior Adult Pastors, and Sally and Steve Evans serve as the Communications Coordinators. 

Haven Church is welcoming to all who want to learn more about Christ and follow him.
