Raising Arizona Men
According to its website, RAM aspires to not only help boys while in foster care by training them and teaching these kids with life skills, but it also seeks to serve as the bridge as they transition from foster care to adulthood.
The organization prays for these young men in the program. It is hopeful that they will leave with an understanding of the importance of strong character, self-reliance, and accountability.
RAM has faith that through the love and support from its programs, the boys will develop an identity that supports personal responsibility and success, so they can become an asset to their communities.
It hosts regular monthly skills days for these boys. They expose and teach them new skills, including art, physical fitness, craftsmanship, and more. The organization is hopeful that it can help them discover their passions and develop their character.
During the skills day, the boys learn new skills, explore ideas, and work on projects.
