Highlands Church will host Truck Town, an interactive truck experience, on Saturday, March 4.
The church’s website noted that its campus would be filled with excellent vehicles for children to ride. Some vehicles include police cars, fire trucks, city service trucks, and construction vehicles.
Besides, they mentioned that there would be buses, military vehicles, a helicopter, and more. Highlands Church noted that they would all be parked in their lot, and the children could fully access, touch, climb inside, and experience up close.
Moreover, they posted that the children would enjoy train rides, food trucks, costumed characters, and a fantastic BMX stunt bike show. They stated that there would be tons of kid-friendly activities.
Service
According to the same website, Highlands Church encouraged its members to bring a small, new toy car or truck at Truck Town to give to needy children throughout the Valley. Also, they would support their ministry partners in Rocky Point and San Luis, Mexico.
In addition, the church also welcomes volunteers to make Truck Town an exciting, friendly and accommodating experience in its community. They informed members to register for a shift to greet visitors as they arrived.
As further posted, they could be a truck attendant or assist with setup and clean-up.

In another section, Highlands Church revealed that they have been working with their sister church Familia de Dios for more than ten years. They explained that the church could participate with the Words of Hope Community Center through this collaboration.
Meanwhile, the Familia de Dios website mentions that they are an independent, non-denominational community church. They added that they practice a Bible-based approach.
In another section, they revealed that they exist to lead individuals into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. The church believes that this is attainable through expanding its knowledge about God.
Besides, they stated that they could achieve their mission by demonstrating their love for Him and sharing Him with others. Also, the church believes that they can serve God by helping others.
Words of Hope Community Center
According to the Words of Hope Community Center website, they seek to witness a holistic change for the families of Puerto Peñasco.
They explained that they aim to encourage the holistic progress of their community’s families through education, health, and personal and spiritual maturity programs.
In its programs and services section, they provide various kinds of programs and help their community. They offer kids activities and vocational programs as they work hard to advocate the holistic development of their community’s families.
Educational Program
The Education section highlighted that at the center, they encourage the academic achievements of their community.
As further stated, they achieve their goal by assisting the students with homework, reinforcing needed aspects, and offering programs that develop creative thinking and social awareness.
More importantly, the center aimed to offer its community the best environment to learn and enhance properly.
The website posted that they offer a Homework Club for some kids who cannot depend on their parents because of a lack of education despite their willingness to help their kids.
