Paradise Valley United Methodist Church to gather families over dinner

Paradise Valley United Methodist Church (PVUMC) announced Family Dinners and encouraged families to join in the upcoming gatherings. Registration for the event will end on Tuesday, Oct. 18. 

Family Dinners

Paradise Valley United Methodist Church informed everyone about Family Dinners through its website. The church said it would be a fun, simple, and easy way to meet people, adding that everyone is welcome to join. 

Participants will be placed in a group with two to four other families or couples. 

A leader from the group will contact participants and plan out the schedule of the Family Dinners.

The gatherings will happen once a month.

Paradise Valley United Methodist Church will reassign participants to other groups at every gathering.

Groups can meet at various venues. They can hold Family Dinners at the church, home, restaurant, or wherever they prefer.

Paradise Valley United Methodist Church also has other events within its congregation through its Facebook page.

Bible Blast for the third graders was held on Sunday, Sept. 18. It is an annual event at the church wherein participants experience games, prizes, and kids get to take home a new Bible. 

Paradise Valley United Methodist Church invited kids to come to church or join its live stream. Children learned the importance of the Bible and how proud the church is because kids participated in the event.

A group of individuals and families from Central Phoenix established a Methodist Church in the northeast Valley in the 1960s. The group met in the Cudia City Studio and later acquired acres of land in which it built its church. 

Dottie Escobedo-Frank serves as the Senior Pastor of Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, while Lauren Coffman is the Executive Pastor.
