Phoenix Bible Church runs Life in Community class to learn about the community in the church every Monday from Feb. 6 to Feb. 27.

The church’s Facebook page noted that it is a three-week class with one special additional evening for participants to experience “community.”

Life in Community

The church’s website explains a great community is when people living in the community are rooted in the gospel and identified by the Spirit. They emphasized that there would be great things that would happen.

Moreover, they stated that an exceptional community is when members are committed to one another. They share their sorrows and joys, as mentioned on the website. Besides, they stressed that eat, pray, play, and sing together.

Community Groups

In another section, Pheonix Bible Church noted that their community groups are smaller settings where members could relate with others and live out biblical truths.

As further explained, the church offers group gatherings in homes on various nights throughout the valley. They added that they provide community group meetings online and in-home most evenings.

Membership

The church’s membership section posted that the Phoenix Bible Church offers membership classes. This course is typically offered twice a year, as the website mentions.

According to them, they have a membership class in spring and in fall.

In addition, the website explained that Covenant Membership is an excellent way to take steps in their relationship with God and His church publicly and intentionally.

Meanwhile, the church emphasized that the most common definition of the church in the New Testament is a “body.” They explained the body has parts that are connected and take roles in important but different ways.

Teams

At Pheonix Bible Church, they practice these unique parts in their “Teams.” They posted that they have various teams that members could join.

In addition, they stated that these teams include hosts, kids, youth, and college and young adults. They also offer a group for worship band and production, as further mentioned on the website.

Moreover, the church has a team of community group leaders. They noted that these people share the dynamic of individual community groups. They added that they meet throughout the week.

Another team that the church offers is the Prayer team. According to them, team members prayerfully respond to submitted prayer requests.
