About Valley Gate Christian Church

As per its Facebook page, one can visit Valley Gate Christian Church at 1445 W, Southern Ave., Tempe. It said it is a multicultural, growing community focused on the individual and Jesus Christ's mission.

The church claimed it is a diverse group that glorifies the Lord, delivers the Good News of Christ, and makes disciples in the valley, the state, the nation, and the world. It believes God intends it to be a "gateway" to the Lord's love and power to the people in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Valley Gate Church works on its mission by cultivating authentic relationships, offering Christ to those in need, and helping others discover strength in a life-transforming relationship with Jesus and His people.

According to its website, Valley Gate Church is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church that started its weekly services on Jan. 24, 2016, in Tempe, Arizona. Worship service happens on Sundays at 9:30 in the morning.

As stated on the website, when one visits the church for the first time, one can expect powerful worship, relevant messages, and engaging kids' ministry. This faith community targets establishing an atmosphere that enables the entire family to encounter Jesus Christ and enjoy authentic relationships with other believers.

According to the church, all things it does are marked by these three: loving God, living for Him, and leading people to Christ. It exists to be a community that makes disciples, honors the Lord, and advances His Kingdom.

Valley Gate Church is a church plant from Grace Covenant Church in DC and Grace Covenant Church in Chantilly, VA. Darryl Morrison serves as the Lead Pastor of this church. Vincent Dinh is the Small Groups Pastor.

JoAnn Morrison serves as Director of Engagement and Women's Ministry, while Sam Morrison is the Youth Pastor.

Valley Gate Church nurtures its "core values", which include collective generosity, transformation, and victorious living.

Their values govern the church's life as a faith community-its ministry, unique mission, and vision for which God has ordained Valley Gate Church.

At the same time, its "shared values" connect it to its bigger family of Every Nation network of churches around the globe.

Shared Values include Lordship, Discipleship, Leadership Development, Spiritual Family, and Evangelism.

The Kids' Ministry exists to support parents in guiding their kids to know God and live by His Word. The ministry intends that every child experience God in its caring, nurturing, and safe environment.

Children experience singing, praying, interactive teaching, and developmental activities at Kids' Ministry.
