Wesley United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Arizona hosted a free health fair on Aug. 12, Friday. On a Facebook post on Monday, Aug. 8, the church invited the public to attend the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to the church’s post, blood pressure screening, glucose screenings, education resources, and coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines were among the activities.

Support Ministries

On Sundays at 10 am, anyone is welcome to attend in person or virtually through Facebook Live, according to the church's website

The church said on Sundays at 6 p.m., the worship services are uploaded to the website and made accessible for viewing.

The public may visit the church's website for those who want to donate to assist the ministries and community outreach initiatives, such as the cooling or outreach center.

By doing this, the church seeks to bring about God's dominion and realm in the world, the church said. 

The church said the vision scripture presents the completion of God's reign and realm in the world. 

Jesus Christ is recognized by the United Methodist Church as the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the Lord of all, according to the church. 

The church said making disciples means respecting and defending the right of everyone to practice their religion freely.

The church said that this mission is the gracious response to Jesus' proclamation of the Reign of God throughout the world. According to them, God's grace is always at work, achieving this goal as it is stated in the Bible. 

Additionally, according to the Wesley United Methodist Church, it is reflected in God's covenant with Abraham and Sarah, Israel's exodus from Egypt, and the prophetic ministry. 

The church said Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection are its complete embodiment. 

It added that it is seen in the continual work of the Holy Spirit in forming a new people.
