The Atlanta First United Methodist Church announced that it needed an executive assistant to the lead pastor or office manager.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, June 7, the Atlanta First United Methodist Church said it needs to hire an executive assistant to the lead pastor or office manager.
According to the church’s post, it is looking for an ideal candidate that is highly driven, loves all people, enjoys learning, has a solid grasp of office technology, and wants to join a creative and imaginative team dedicated to the church's mission of worshiping God, serving people, growing together, and engaging Atlanta and beyond.
The church said the executive assistant to the pastor or office manager (EA) is the lead pastor's main point of contact. The EA is the church's office manager and the main point of contact for the congregation, church personnel, community members, and the lead pastor.
It added that the EA is in charge of the lead pastor's office's organization and management, which includes, but is not limited to: scheduling, communication, travel, reimbursements and budget, the leadership team, and worship execution.
This is a full-time hybrid role that demands love for all of God's people, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work remotely as well as in person, according to the church’s post.
The church said anyone with any queries may call 404.524.6614, ext. 102.
