The public was encouraged earlier to start reading Sankofa this month, according to the church.
The church said there is still time for those who have not yet read it. It is a fast-paced, exciting read about a woman's search for her true self.
According to the church, weekly reading guides are available on the Atlanta First United Methodist Church Online Facebook Campus.
