The Central Presbyterian Church announced that its outreach advocacy members hosted their annual holiday party.

The Presbyterian church shared in a Facebook post a video of their annual holiday party last Friday, Dec. 17.

The church also expressed gratitude to the volunteers, donors, and countless others who helped make the event happen.

Executive officials of the Central Outreach and Advocacy Center have shared their thoughts on the culmination event in a video shared by the church.

Church's 'Alternative Christmas' Market

The public is invited to join the Central Presbyterian Church for fellowship activities and the "Alternative Christmas" market on Sunday, Dec. 12.

The Central Presbyterian Church announced several programs full of happiness and fellowship in a Facebook post on Saturday.

According to the post, the church held caroling in the Courtyard at 9:30 a.m.

 Attendees can shop, donate to great causes, and enjoy some wonderful food and refreshments while socializing.

The church also invited the public to join the members of the Parish Choir from the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Concepcion.

Church's '12 Days of Giving' Catalog

This year's "12 Days of Giving" brochure from Central Presbyterian Church will include Central Christmas images from families and congregation members.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Nov. 7, the Central Presbyterian Church invited the public to submit their favorite Central Christmas images for inclusion in this year's Christmas catalog.

According to the church, the public was encouraged to submit their finest images from the Advent candle lighting to the Children's Christmas pageant.

The Presbyterian Church stated that it wished to share its joy with others.

According to the church's website, the Central Christmas photos can be forwarded to Mark Wallace Maguire.

Advent Celebrations

The Advent parish activities at Central Presbyterian Church began on Saturday, Nov. 20. The church posted on Facebook on Friday, Nov. 19, that the Advent parish celebrations will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

They invited the community to amazing activities as well as the chance to contribute, receive, and enjoy fellowships at their local parish.

Church's Service, Lament Healing

The Central Presbyterian Church held an Advent service of lament and healing on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

According to the Central Presbyterian Church's Facebook post, an Advent service of lament and healing was held in the church's sanctuary at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

The unique service was also live-streamed on the church's official social media channels, according to the post.

The church added that mourning cries and prayers from people who have been through catastrophic events have been heard for a long time.

According to the Central Presbyterian, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has killed thousands of people worldwide in the last 18 months. Individuals, communities, and nations have frequently expressed their frustration.

At the same time, many people experienced personal misfortunes outside of the pandemic that inspired similar displays of grief and sorrow, such as the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, or even recent events at their church.

According to the post, parking in the garage was also available for those who required it throughout the event.
