The Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, provided over 90 new winter jackets and food packs in celebration of Christmas.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Dec. 26, the Central Presbyterian Church announced that it provided over 90 new winter jackets for neighboring communities.
The church said it also provides a delicious warm meal sponsored by the FOCUS group, shoes, and backpacks gifted by THRIVE.
They also expressed gratitude to all the Central volunteers who came and celebrated the special event with them.

Annual Holiday Party
The Central Presbyterian Church's outreach advocacy members had their annual holiday celebration.

The church held caroling in the Courtyard at 9:30 a.m., according to the post.
Attendees can shop, give to worthy causes, and socialize while enjoying delicious food and refreshments.

The Central Presbyterian Church's "12 Days of Giving" brochure this year will feature Central Christmas photos from families and congregation members.
The Central Presbyterian Church requested the public to submit their favorite Central Christmas photographs for inclusion in this year's Christmas catalog in a Facebook post on Sunday, Nov. 7.
The public was encouraged to contribute their best photographs from the Advent candle lighting to the Children's Christmas pageant, according to the church.
The Presbyterian Church expressed its interest in sharing its happiness with others.

Church’s Advent Celebrations
On Saturday, Nov. 20, Central Presbyterian Church began its Advent parish activities. On Friday, Nov. 19, the church announced on Facebook that the Advent parish celebrations will be conducted on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
They urged the community to participate in incredible events as well as contribute, receive, and enjoy the camaraderie at their local parish.

The church said that people's screams of grief and prayers for those who have lost loved ones in tragic circumstances have been heard for a long time.
