Dunwoody United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia s set to host a group discussion with the theme “Reimagining Life: Fallout from COVID-19.”
In a Facebook post, the church said that the discussion will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Asbury Room in Dunwoody United Methodist Church.
The gathering is provided by the OneLamb Initiative in an effort to make up for the losses and find purpose in the compromised community, according to the church.
The church said Rev. Dr. Susan Anne Bennett will facilitate this small, interactive group as they try to recover emotional wholeness and a sound spirituality after the pandemic experience.
It added that lunch is offered, while space is scarce.

Church’s History
According to the church's website, Dunwoody United Methodist Church welcomes those who seek Christ and has a shared heritage with them.
The North Georgia Conference, the largest United Methodist Conference in the US, has more than 800 churches, and the church claims to be one of its size.

Church’s Worship Services
The church said its chapel, which was constructed in 1941, is a small, typical worship area with seating for 120 people, the church said. It said it has dark wood accents and frosted glass windows. It is where the 8:45 a.m. Sunday Chapel Service is held.
Additionally, it offers a lovely backdrop for modest weddings, funerals, and other important occasions, according to the church.
The sanctuary seats 1,400 people and underwent renovation in 2018 to accommodate both traditional and contemporary worship sessions, the church said.
The church said a huge chancel and Palladian windows give the church light and airy feel that supports its liturgical service.
The Sunday traditional worship service is enhanced by the strength and grace of the Chancel Choir, pipe organ, piano, and orchestra.
It is also utilized for the Sunday Contemporary Worship Service, which is held there at 8:45 a.m.
The environment is changed into one that has multimedia presentations, digital lighting, a dynamic praise band, and a more relaxed worship style, according to the church.
Large gatherings and activities, such as Wednesday Night Supper and performances by the performing arts, can be accommodated in a spacious, multipurpose fellowship hall, the church said.
The church said space may be divided into sections for classes or small groups and features theatrical lighting, sound, and multimedia capabilities.
With a complete commercial kitchen and a team of food service professionals, they can host groups of 10 to 400 people for breakfast, lunch, or a formal evening supper, it added.
