The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta in Georgia has announced the return of Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, April 6, the First Presbyterian Church said the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra returned to the church last Saturday at 8 p.m.

According to the post, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra returned with Saint-Saëns’s Organ Symphony and Poulenc’s Organ Concerto with Jens Korndörfer and conductor Jerry Hou.

The First Presbyterian Church said this was an in-person-only event.

The event was presented by Concerts at First, according to the church.

Church’s Donation Drive

The public was invited to donate to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta's food drive.

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta asked the public for canned foods for the church's food bank in a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 5.

In honor of March Madness, the church's Community Ministries is holding a canned food collection from Sunday, March 20 to Sunday, April 24.

The church requested that as many canned foods as possible be donated to the food bank.

According to the church's post, the drop-off location will be near the reception desk in the Smith Building.

They can put their donations in the appropriate bins, such as Rebekah's (Bin 1) and Jens' (Bin 1) in Bunny Ears (Bin 2).

The amount of money donated will select the victors, according to the church.

At least 15 ounces of corn, sweet peas, baked beans, collards, mixed vegetables, fruits, canned spam, canned chicken, tuna, and salmon, corn flakes, grits, oats, saltine crackers, ketchup, and salt and pepper shakers are among the food items required.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The annual Easter Egg Hunt at Atlanta's First Presbyterian Church is open to the general public.

According to a Facebook post, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta invited the public to participate in the annual First Presbyterian Church Easter Egg Hunt at Winn Park in the Ansley area on Monday, April 4 for plenty of fun, laughter, and friendship.

The celebration will be held on April 16 starting from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

According to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, attendees are urged to bring their own baskets to the event.

The event will be moved to Fifield Hall if it rains. Coffee and breakfast delicacies are served, according to the church.
