The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta in Georgia invited the public to explore James Bryan Smith’s book entitled “The Good and Beautiful God.”
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, May 3, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta said Join the Way is until May 22.
Rev. Chris Holmes is studying James Bryan Smith's book "The Good and Beautiful God." Sleep, Count Your Blessings, Margin, and Slowing Down are some of the class themes, according to the church.
The church said to join in the Bride's Room on Sundays at 10 a.m. as they prepare for summer by delving into these key Christian disciplines.

Bach’s Lunch
On Friday, May 13, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta will host another Bach's Lunch.
The First Presbyterian Church invited the public to another Bach's Lunch featuring the American String Quartet and ECMSA Artistic Director William Ransom in a Facebook post on Thursday, April 28.
According to the church's announcement, the American String Quartet will perform one of Bach's most brilliant chamber compositions with ECMSA Artistic Director William Ransom.

New Youth Choir
At Atlanta's First Presbyterian Church, a new youth chorus has been formed.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 26, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced the launch of a new youth choir.
They meet every Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the choir rehearsal room before the youth group, according to the church's website.
No prior experience is required, according to the church, and everyone is welcome to participate.
According to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, participation included opportunities for performance and, as the choir grew, possible choir tours.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
According to a Facebook post on the church's page on Wednesday, April 6, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performed at the First Presbyterian Church last Saturday at 8 p.m.
The church said the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, led by Jerry Hou and coordinated by Jens Korndörfer, presented Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony and Poulenc's Organ Concerto.
According to the First Presbyterian Church, this was a one-time occurrence.
The event was hosted by Concerts at First, according to the church.

Mental Health Connections
Atlanta First Presbyterian Church hosted the second annual mental health connections week.
The second annual mental health connections week was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta from April 25 to April 29, according to a post published on Monday, April 18.
The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, the Samaritan Counseling Center, and The Will for Hope Foundation sponsored the event to promote awareness about the importance of mental health, according to the church.
Around 7 p.m., the gathering began. According to the church, this happened on April 25.
