The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta in Georgia has announced that it has a new youth choir.
The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta introduced its new youth choir in a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 26.
According to the church’s post, they meet at 4:30 p.m. every Sunday before the youth group in the choir rehearsal room.
The church said there is no required previous experience and everyone is welcome to join.
The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta said participation will also include performance opportunities as well as potential choir trips as they grow.

Symphony Orchestra
According to a Facebook post on the church's page on Wednesday, April 6, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performed at the First Presbyterian Church last Saturday at 8 p.m.
The church said the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jerry Hou and led by Jens Korndörfer, presented Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony and Poulenc's Organ Concerto.
According to the First Presbyterian Church, this was a one-time event.
The church said the event was hosted by Concerts at First.

Lunch Bags Love Line Sunday
The Lunch Bags Love Line Sunday has been organized by the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.
The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta welcomed volunteers for Lunch Bags Love Line Sunday mornings after the 9:10 a.m. service in a Facebook post on Monday, April 25.
According to the church, they meet in the kitchen to prepare peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and package meals for the neediest people in the community.
It was a fun event that had a wonderful impact on the neighborhood, according to the church.

Mental Health Connections Week
The Atlanta First Presbyterian Church hosted the 2nd annual mental health connections week.
The 2nd annual mental health connections week was held from April 25 to April 29 at the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, according to a press release issued on Monday, April 18.
According to the church's post, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, the Samaritan Counseling Center, and The Will for Hope Foundation are all sponsoring the event to raise awareness about the importance of mental health.
