The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta in Georgia has resumed its new parent class on Sundays.
In a Facebook post on Monday, May 23, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced that the new parent class has resumed on Sundays at 10 a.m.
The church has invited other parents and pastoral staff to the Library for fellowship, conversation, and mutual support.
Although all parents are invited, much of the program is focused on parents of newborns and small children.
Interested participants may contact Lynne Wisard at lwisard@firstpresatl.org for further information.

Calls for Volunteers
The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta has asked for more volunteers to help with the church's various activities.
The church announced on Facebook on Saturday, May 21, that it was looking for volunteers to help spread God's love by caring for people.
The public can learn about the different ways volunteers can give back to the community through volunteering, according to the church's post.
The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta claimed that by opening themselves up to others, people can let God's transformational light in.
Volunteers interested in learning more about additional initiatives should go to firstpresatl.org/volunteer.
They can also get more information on this topic on the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta's Facebook page.
Care Ministry
The Flower Ministry, which is part of the Care Ministry, according to the church's website, covers a range of ways to support the church family and community outside of these walls.
Every week, volunteers make gorgeous floral arrangements for the sanctuary, bringing the beauty of nature into worship, according to the church.
Following the worship service, volunteers break down the massive arrangements into smaller ones, which are then brought to members who are homebound, recovering from surgery, grieving, or celebrating a milestone by another group of volunteers.
Members can also pay $250 to sponsor Sanctuary flowers in honor or memory of a loved one, with the dedication appearing in the print and online newsletter.
They can also contact Pam Covington by email at pamcovington1929@gmail.com or by phone at (404) 355-5801 to be paired with another volunteer and learn how to arrange flowers for Sunday worship or smaller bouquets for delivery.
Atlanta Community Food Bank
According to the church, food is provided to the Venable Food Pantry by the Atlanta Community Food Bank, local suppliers, and church and community members.
The church said the pantry distributes about 62 tons of food in a single year.
Volunteers are needed to help with stocking non-perishable food items or preparing and distributing food bags, both of which are great ways to meet new people.
No-contact volunteers are needed Monday through Thursday to purchase, cook, assemble, and deliver lunch boxes at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta on Peachtree Street. Orange cones surround the parking lot available behind the church.
Each thoughtfully packed lunch bag should have a sandwich (choice of turkey, chicken, tuna, or peanut butter and jelly; any cheese option must contain one of the meat options specified), 16 oz bottled water, an individual small bag of chips, granola bar, and individually wrapped fruit snack.
A letter of encouragement or inspiration is always appreciated. Orders can be placed in brown or white paper bags or cartons.
