The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta in Georgia has invited the public to the Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta in celebrating 20 years of service.

In a Facebook post on Monday, March 21, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta said that the Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta will be held on Thursday, March 31.

The church said the Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta will mark its 20th anniversary with a delicious breakfast buffet and a celebratory program.

According to the church, interested participants may purchase their ticket, reserve their seat, and join in the celebration through this link.

Sunday Prayer Breakfast

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta requested volunteers in March to assist with Sunday Prayer Breakfast gatherings.

On Saturday, March 12, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced on Facebook that it is looking for volunteers for Sunday Prayer Breakfast events in Fifield Hall this March.

According to the church's announcement, volunteers will serve food and hospitality to those in need in the community.

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta said the arrival time is 6 a.m. The cleanup was completed by 8 a.m.

Church’s Vacation Bible

Vacation Bible School 2022 registration is now open at Atlanta's First Presbyterian Church.

On Sunday, March 6, the First Presbyterian Church announced that registration for Vacation Bible School 2022 is now open.

According to the church's announcement, 3-year-olds to rising 5th-graders will have an interactive, stimulating, Bible-based fun time on their quest for God's bright light.

The church said they will become explorers, understanding how God's light shines on them and how they can reflect it in their daily lives.

The Atlanta First Presbyterian Preschool is looking for a new director.

On Saturday, Feb. 26, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced on Facebook that it was looking for a new preschool director.

The director would be in charge of developing a developmentally appropriate and exciting curriculum for children aged 18 months to Kindergarten, according to a post from the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.

Ministry Training

Beginning Sept. 12, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta will host a new Stephen Ministry Training.

On Friday, March 18, the church announced on Facebook that a new Stephen Ministry Training cohort will begin on Monday evenings beginning Sept. 12.

They may learn the principles and skills required to provide high-quality, Christ-centered emotional and spiritual care to others, according to the church.

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta invited people to attend "Loss, Wonder, and Belonging" services on Sundays.

The church invited the public to attend "Loss, Wonder, and Belonging" services on Sundays at 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., as announced on March 17. The dates are April 3, 10, 24, and May 1, 8, and 22.

This small group, led by Katie Sundermeier and Florida Ellis, will provide a safe and private environment for individuals who have experienced sexual assault to share, recover, and fellowship with others, according to the church.
